- The re-construction work of the Batticaloa Court Complex which was in a state of dilapidation and danger has now been completed. The proposal made by Hon.(Dr.) Wijayadasa Rajapaksa, the Minister of Justice, to implement the second phase of the project, to provide further facilities required to maintain the functions of this Courts Complex, was approved by the Cabinet.
