- The Cabinet of Ministers at its meeting held on 2015?04?22 decided to allow the interested parties to make further observations to amend certain provisions in the Buddhist Temporalities (Amendment) Ordinance. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Buddha Sasana, Hon. Karu Jayasuriya to get the recommendations of the Attorney General for the final draft prepared incorporating the amendments proposed by the Minister of Justice and the Reverend Bikkhus represented the sects of the Siyam Chapter, to publish it in the Government Gazette and thereafter to present it in the Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
