Asian Development Bank funded Southern Road Connectivity Project - Award of Contract for Consultancy Services for Project Implementation - The Government of Sri Lanka has received a loan amounting to US$70 million from the Asian Development Bank to meet the cost of the Southern Road Connectivity Project. Approximately 33 km of the national highways which provide connectivity to the Southern Expressway will be improved under this loan. The proposal made by the Minister of Highways and Investment Promotion, Hon. Kabir Hashim, to award the contract as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Consultants Procurement Committee was approved by the Cabinet. |
