- The proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Minister of Policy Planning, Economic Affairs, Child, Youth and Cultural Affairs to complete the remaining work of projects already commenced and identified as essential for the benefit of the communities covered under 'Deyata Kirula' National Development Program in the Districts of Galle, Matara, Hambantota and Rathnapura, was approved by the Cabinet.
