- Discussions relating to the development of an Air Service Link between Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan have been held between the delegates of the two countries in Astana, Kazakhstan. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Aviation, Reginold Cooray to sign the already initiated Air Services Agreement at official level by an accredited representative and take appropriate action thereafter for its entry into force, was approved by the Cabinet.
