- The proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister, for the establishment of an Office for National Unity, with a view to building an inclusive and peaceful society in Sri Lanka, where diversity will be respected and celebrated, and in which all communities will co?exist in harmony and unity, with a vision to guarantee every citizen equal opportunities in the economic, social, cultural and political spheres, whilst safeguarding the Sri Lankan identity, was approved by the Cabinet.
