- The proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunayake, Minister of Finance, to present the Bills prepared by the Legal Draftsman to provide for the amendment to the following Acts in order to give effect to the Budget Proposals for 2015, in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet:

* Inland Revenue Act, No. 10 of 2006;
* Value Added Tax Act, No. 14 of 2002;
* Nation Building Tax Act, No. 9 of 2009;
* Finance Act;
* Economic Service Charge Act, No. 13 of 2006;
* Telecommunication Levy Act, No. 21 of 2011;
and
* Betting and Gaming Levy Act, No. 40 of 1988.
