- The proposal made by Hon. D.M. Swaminathan, Minister of Resettlement, Reconstruction and Hindu Religious Affairs, to construct a Sanitary Unit each at a maximum cost of Rs.50,000/- per family with a view to improving sanitary facilities among the resettled communities, was approved by the Cabinet.
