Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2015-03-04

Extending the term of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of India pertaining to the Project for the provision of sales facilities to Women Entrepreneurs and for the maintenance of the Community Education Centre in the Batticaloa District

- The proposal made by Hon. (Mrs.) Chandrani Bandara, Minister of Women's Affairs, to extend the duration up to 30th June 2016 of the project which was initiated in the year 2010 on a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Government of India to economically and socially strengthen the war affected women in the Batticoloa District through the implementation of various Entrepreneur Development Training Courses, was approved by the Cabinet.
