- The proposal made by Hon. Gayantha Karunathilaka, Minister of Mass Media and Parliamentary Affairs, to award the printing of school text books also to the State Printing Corporation, Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd. and Department of Government Printing, taking into consideration the printing capacity of these state institutions and performance of previous years was approved by the Cabinet.
