- The proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, Minister of Urban Development, Water Supply and Drainage to award the contract as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC) for the proposed project to be implemented under two stages to rehabilitate the present water supply system and reduce the non-revenue generating water within the Area Engineer's boundaries in the City of Colombo, was approved by the Cabinet.
