- as agreed upon in the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the field of Agriculture between Sri Lanka and India, a bi-annual action plan has to be signed and made effective with the consensus of the two parties. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Acting Minister of Irrigation and Agriculture, Hon. (Mrs.) Anoma Gamage to sign the said action plan during his Excellency the President's proposed state visit to India, was approved by the Cabinet.
