- it was decided that the respective Ministers should examine any deviations from the normal modes of expenditure incurred by their Ministries from the date of declaration of the Presidential Election up to the date of conclusion and submit a Report at the next meeting and also direct the Secretaries to the Ministries to suspend all payments that appear to be unjustifiable. In this regard, it was also decided to make an investigation into the large scale payments made to media institutions and also the expenditure incurred for obtaining vehicles on rental basis.
