Kandy City Waste Water Management Project - Award of Contract for Design & Construction of Waste Water Treatment Plant, Main Pump House, Treated Effluent Disposal System and Supply of Operation & Maintenance Equipment - the objective of this project is to prevent pollution of the Kandy City water sources, Mahaweli River and the Kandy Lake by collecting and treating domestic and industrial waste water with treatment facility. This project is to be implemented under four contract packages and this is contract package (1). The proposal made by Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Water Supply and Drainage, to award the above contract as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC), was approved by the Cabinet. |
