- the Ministry of Plantation Industries in association with the Sri Lanka Tea Board is planning to organize the first ever 'Ceylon Tea Expo 2015' exhibition and a conference from 6th to 8th November 2015 at the BMICH, Colombo. This event envisages to attract international buyers, Super Market Chains, Wholesalers, Value Chain Developers, Institutions, Associations, etc. This event will also generate revenue to the country while giving adequate publicity for Ceylon Tea throughout the World. The proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Samarasinghe, Minister of Plantation Industries, to proceed with the related activities, was approved by the Cabinet.
