Increase of the Monthly Allowance for Food and Service Facilities of Student Teachers in National Colleges of Education - the proposal made by Hon. Bandula Gunawardena, Minister of Education to increase the monthly allowance paid to a scholar during the academic training period by Rs.1,000/- making it Rs.3,500/- per month and during the in-service training period by Rs.1,000/-, making it Rs.4,000/- per month, in keeping with the Budget proposals for the year 2015, was approved by the Cabinet. |
