- the Treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters provides for improving the effectiveness of law enforcement of both parties in the investigation, prosecution and prevention of crime and confiscation of criminal proceeds. The proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, Minister of Justice, to submit the above Agreement to Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
