- Cabinet observed that Rs. 157 Billion has been allocated by the Government to provide free health services to the public. The proposal made by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health, to declare the period from 2014?12?01 to 2014?12?07 as the week for the “Nirogiee Lanka” National Health Programme 2014, and to conduct the programmes drawn up for the purpose, in association with the relevant Ministries, Government Institutions and Provincial Councils, was approved by the Cabinet.
