- considering the services rendered to the Accountancy Profession and in the field of Finance by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, the joint proposal made by Hon. Janaka Bandara Tennakoon, Minister of Lands and Land Development; and Hon. Johnston Fernando, Minister of Co-operatives and Internal Trade, to allocate the two blocks of land at Malalasekara Mawatha, Colombo 07, developed and occupied by the Institute on a long term lease basis, as a free grant, was approved by the Cabinet.
