- the Treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters between Sri Lanka and the People’s Republic of China provides for the Parties to grant each other mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, including investigations, prosecutions, trials and resulting proceedings. The proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, Minister of Justice, to sign and ratify the above Agreement, was approved by the Cabinet.
