- Cabinet approval was granted for signing of the above Agreement between the Government of Sri Lanka and the Government of the Republic of Seychelles, to promote Cultural Co-operation between the two countries on the basis of mutual respect for their sovereignty in conformity with the laws and regulations in force in each country. The above proposal was made by Hon. T.B. Ekanayake, Minister of Culture and the Arts.
