- a delegation led by Hon. Prof. Tissa Vitarana, Minister (Senior) for Scientific Affairs attended the above meeting held in Thailand recently. The aim of the forum was to reach global agreement on a strong post - 2015 development agenda that builds on the foundation laid by the Millennium Development Goals. The forum had provided a platform for consultation at regional level among Government, Business and Civil Society representatives from over 32 Member States and other relevant stakeholders representing UN Agencies.
