- the proposal made by Hon. Bandula Gunawardena, Minister of Education, to transfer a block of land in an extent of 04 Acres and 18.7 Perches situated in the Tangalle Divisional Secretary's Division of the Hambantota District, belonging to the Sri Lanka Transport Board, to the Ministry of Education, for the relocation of Ha/Tangalle Balika Maha Vidyalaya, with the view to providing enhanced facilities to the school children in the area, was approved by the Cabinet.
