- the proposal made by Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Water Supply and Drainage, for signing of a Cooperation Agreement on the establishment of a Water Supply and Waste Water Management Master Plan for Matara and Hambantota Districts, between the National Water Supply and Drainage Board of Sri Lanka and Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute of Korea, was approved by the Cabinet. The possibility of covering the entire Southern Province will also be considered.
