- this project is to be implemented with financial assistance from China and contributions to be made by the Government of Sri Lanka. The proposal made by Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Water Supply and Drainage, to award the contract for the above project for a sum of US $69,422,744 and LKR 1,225,957,379, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC),was approved by the Cabinet.
