- the proposal made by Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Industry and Commerce, to appoint a study group consisting of representatives from the relevant institutions, to undertake a feasibility study on concluding a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) or a Preferential Trading Arrangement (PTA) with Bangladesh, with a view to enhancing bilateral trade between the two countries, was approved by the Cabinet.
