Regulation Made under paragraph (c) of Sub?Section (2) of Section 37 of the National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lank Act, No.53 of 1998 on Live Rock Culture for Export Regulations No.1 of 2011 - many countries in the world have used specific areas with high biodiversity in the coastal belt and inland waters for live rock culture. Live rock can be used for beautification of marine and fresh water ornamental fish tanks. The proposal made by Hon. Rajitha Senaratne, Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development, to submit the relevant Gazette Extraordinary Notification Nos.1734/12 dated 2011?11?30 and 1786/26 dated 2012?11?30 containing the regulations for the purpose, to Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet. |
