- supply of fertilizer under the subsidy scheme is handled by Ceylon Fertilizer Company Ltd. (CFC) and Colombo Commercial Fertilizer Ltd.` under the purview of the Ministry of Agriculture. The proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Minister of Agriculture, to procure the required quantities of fertilizer for the Yala Season - 2014, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
