Dry Zone Urban Water and Sanitation Projects

- the proposals made by Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Water Supply and Drainage, to award the following 02 contracts to the lowest evaluated substantially responsive bidders as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), were approved by the Cabinet:

* Construction of Water Treatment Plants and Storage Structures with Supply and Installation of Pumps, Automation System and M & E Equipment in Vavuniya; and
* Construction of Water Treatment Plants and Storage Structures with Supply and Installation of Pumps, Automation System and M & E Equipment in Chilaw and Puttalam.
