- H.E. the President of Sri Lanka visited Kenya on the invitation of H.E. the President of Kenya. The bilateral talks between the two leaders covered a wide range of issues of mutual interest. The two leaders agreed that this visit was an exceptional opportunity to consolidate the longstanding partnership between the two countries and forge even closer ties heading into a new and promising future of shared destiny and mutual prosperity. The significance of signing of the Agreement on establishing the Kenya - Sri Lanka Joint Commission for Co-operation, as a primary point of contact for advancing, monitoring and evaluating bilateral ties between the two countries, was highlighted.
