- since the Value Added Tax Act, No.14 of 2002 has been amended on several occasions from time to time due to amendments introduced to the relevant Act from 2003 to 2013, the proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Planning, to introduce a new Bill for the purpose incorporating all amendments, to facilitate easy reference to tax payers, was approved by the Cabinet.
