KBC Bank of Belgium has agreed to provide a loan of Euro 12,996,578.95 to cover a major portion of the project. The proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Planning, to enter into a loan agreement with the Hatton National Bank to finance the remaining portion of the contract and to on lend the proceeds of the loan to the National Water Supply and Drainage Board for implementation of the project, was approved by the Cabinet.
