Construction of a New Hostel for Agriculture College of Sri Lanka, Pelvehera, Dambulla, of the Department of Agriculture

- the proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Minister of Agriculture for the construction of a new hostel building at a total estimated cost of Rs.221.96 million, to provide better residential facilities and learning environment to the students following the two (02) year Diploma Course in Agriculture, was approved by the Cabinet. The preliminary work of the project will be commenced in 2013 and the balance funds for the purpose will be provided under the Medium Term Budgetary Frame Work 2014 - 2016.
