Allocation of Blocks of Land at Pitipana, Homagama to Mahinda Rajapaksa National School

- 09 acres of land from Pitipana, Mahenawatte, has been allocated by the Urban Development Authority, to construct the Mahinda Rajapaksa National School and the said land has already been developed and the Ministry of Education has commenced activities of the National School. A land in extent of 05 acres located behind the School has also been developed by the Ministry of Education as the playground of the National School. The proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence and Urban Development, to proceed with the activities relating to the vesting of the relevant lands with the Ministry of Education, was approved by the Cabinet.
