Rehabilitation and Improvements of Road Sections with Financial Assistance from Local Banks

- Cabinet approval has already been granted for the rehabilitation and improvements to the following Sections of Roads and the proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Planning, to authorize the Road Development Authority to enter into Loan Agreements with the local Bank for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet:

* Road Section from Narammala to Dankotuwa (B308) (16.03 km to 45.25 km);
* Road Section from Ambepussa to Galewala (0.00 km to 75.11 km) on Ambepussa - Kurunegala - Trincomalee Road (A6);
* Road Section from Kadawalagedara to Withikuliya having a length of 14.00 km;
* Construction of a Two Lane Bridge across Deduru Oya at Kadigawa; and
* Kelanimulla - Mulleriyawa - Koswatta Road - Phase I - Construction of Via Duct and approach road from 0.00 km to 0.60 km.
