Development of Colleges of Agriculture for Producing Fully Skilled Professionals Suited for current Agricultural Needs in Sri Lanka

- the proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Minister of Agriculture, for the development of colleges of agriculture to provide opportunities for the youth of our country to follow internationally reputed training programmes and tertiary education programmes that provide internationally recognized qualifications so that the youth will be equipped to meet the demands of the global work force, was approved by the Cabinet.
