Provision of Water Supply Facilities for Deyata Kirula 2014

- the Deyata Kirula - 2014 Development Programme includes Kurunegala, Puttalam and Kegalle Districts and the exhibition is to be held at Kuliyapitiya in lands belonging to the Wayamba University, the Technical College and the Kuliyapitiya Central College. It has been planned to develop drinking water supply within the North Western Province, including the exhibition areas, utilizing funds to be allocated under the Deyata Kirula - 2014 Development Programme. The proposed project will bring direct benefits to the Wayamba University, Kuliyapitiya Technical College and the residential population of the Kuliyapitiya and Kegalle towns and suburbs. The proposal made by Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Water Supply and Drainage, to proceed with the relevant activities, was approved by the Cabinet.
