- it has been proposed to construct an underground vehicle park and a green garden in Badulla Town for the convenience of the public.  Preliminary works of the project are to be commenced utilizing an allocation of Rs.15 million provided to the District Secretary, Badulla in the Budget Estimate for 2013.  The proposal made by Hon. W.D.J. Seneviratne, Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs, to proceed with the project, was approved by the Cabinet.
