- Tender for Construction of Water Storage Structures in Mannar - the above project is being implemented by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board with Government of Sri Lanka contribution and loan funds provided by the Asian Development Bank.  There are 15 major contract packages to be awarded to implement the various components of the project in the four towns of Puttalam, Chillaw, Vavuniya and Mannar and the above is one such contract.  This contract includes two (02) ground reservoirs, an elevated tower and Chlorination System.  The proposal made by Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Water Supply and Drainage, to award the above tender to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
