- Village Level Public Meetings and Mobile Services - Hon. Basil Rajapaksa, Minster of Economic Development, informed the Members of the Cabinet that, parallel to the Deyata Kirula Exhibition 2014, community welfare services and mobile services are being implemented, covering all Grama Niladhari Divisions of the three Districts of Kurunegala, Kegalle and Puttalam.  The main objectives of this programme are:

*    to identify individual and family based problems, including land, housing etc., and to provide solutions for same;

*    to identify common amenities to be developed within the Grame Niladhari Divisions;

*    to provide various services by Government Institutions at village level; and

*    to provide mobile health clinics at village level for the benefit of the public.
