- with a view to avoid unnecessary delays in disposing Court productions accumulated in Court premises, the proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, Minister of Justice, to amend Section 431 of the Code of Criminal Procedure Act, No.15 of 1979, for the period of time given to a person from the date of the notification published in the Court Notice Board and two other public places, to establish a person's claim in respect of a property, the possession of which is unknown, be reduced to 02 months from 06 months, the value of such property to be increased from Rs.2500/- to Rs.25,000/-, and to instruct the Legal Draftsman to draft amending legislation for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
