- H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Planning, informed the Cabinet of Ministers that the Ministry has already commenced the initial activities relating to the preparation of the Budget 2014.  His Excellency stated that, as a country with a higher economic growth and encouraging development by expanding the infrastructure facilities and strengthening the financial management, the principle target of the strategy is to raise per-capita income over US $4,000.  A large number of projects is being implemented at rural, regional and urban levels covering social, economic and environmental sectors to achieve these targets. 2014 Budget will also give priority for timely completion of such projects to ensure that expected benefits of those projects will reach the general public at the earliest.
