- based on various reports received pertaining to this matter, immediate action has been taken by the Ministry of Health to stop the release of imported milk with Whey Protein Concentrate to the market.  This action has led to many implications.  Therefore, to ensure the availability of adequate amount of milk powder including infant milk formule, increased local milk production, processing and marketing and also nutrition of the society, Cabinet approval was granted for the appointment of a Cabinet Sub-Committee comprising of relevant senior Ministers and Ministers to examine this issue and submit a report to the next meeting of the Cabinet, for consideration.
