Financial Assistance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the Implementation of Greater Colombo Water Supply and Waste Water Management Improvement Programme - Tranche 2 - ADB has agreed to provide financial assistance in a sum of US $300 for this programme which consists of 04 Tranches. The purpose of this programme is to improve the water service efficiency in the Greater Colombo area. Two stages of this project are expected to be implemented and completed over the period from 2012 to 2018. The proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Planning, to proceed with the programme, was approved by the Cabinet. |
