Southern Transport Development Project - Construction of South Section from Pinnaduwa to Godagama - Rehabilitation of National Highways Leading to Southern Expressway - the Government has obtained a loan from China Exim Bank towards the cost for the construction of Southern Section of the Southern Expressway from Pinnaduwa to Matara. The proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways, to utilize the savings of the above loan to rehabilitate the undermentioned National Highways which lead to the Southern Expressway, was approved by the Cabinet. |
