- Sri Jayawardenepura Road  under Regional Bridge Project -  Phase II - with Financial Assistance from the British Government  - the proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways, award the reconstruction of the above bridge at a cost of GBP 10,739,262 as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
