Phase I of the Project consisting of 103 Vegetable Stalls, 05 Fish Stalls, 03 Meat Stalls and Public Parking facilities  is nearing completion.  The proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence and Urban Development, to award the contract of Phase II of the Project, on Design and Build basis, to the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB), subject to the rates of the estimate being approved by the Standing Technical Committee of the Ministry of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities, was approved by the Cabinet.
