the intention of this MoU is to lay a foundation for collaboration, exchange of ideas and support in the fields of animal husbandry, public presentation of zoological species, related research, veterinary and keeper training. The proposal made by Hon. Jayaratne Herath, Minister of Botanical Gardens and Public Recreation, to enter into the above Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries, was approved by the Cabinet.
