this Agreement will strengthen the unilateral and bilateral relationships between Regional countries and will assist in restoring normalcy in disaster stricken countries within a minimum period. Covering approval of the Cabinet was granted for the above Agreement submitted by Hon. Mahinda Amaraweera, Minister of Disaster Management, which has been signed at the 17^th SAARC Summit held in Maldives in 2011.
