the Ministry of Traditional Industries and Small Enterprise Development has facilitated the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises/Industries spread out across the country through the establishment, operation and servicing of 18 Industrial Estates which are managed by the Industrial Development Board. The proposal made by Hon. Douglas Devananda, Minister of Traditional Industries and Small Enterprise Development to adapt and adopt the lease rental policy recommendations to the Small and Medium Industrial Estates operated by the Industrial Development Board, to provide relief to all small and medium industrialists with effect from 2011 06 01, was approved by the Cabinet.
